Art & Cocktails: Paint to Music

Join us for a creative evening of artistic exploration at our Paint to Music Class on August 6, 2026, led by Pura Vida Sierras Art. Join A, certified life art coach and professional working artist, as she guides participants in using music as inspiration and freeing the mind of expectations. This is not a traditional paint and sip class, instead each participant will choose to explore abstract creations or their own defined subject matter. The music is as important as the paintbrush.

The Paint to Music Class is part of our Art & Cocktails series, which emphasizes a low-pressure artmaking environment. Whether you are a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, this class provides a supportive atmosphere for individuals and groups to express their creativity. Participants will create their own acrylic paintings using music as the inspiration. Enjoy a glass of your favorite cocktail or mocktail as you engage in this fun and relaxing art form! About the Instructor:

A. Perry is the owner/artist of Pura Vida Sierras Art with an education in architecture and design. She is also the Director of our art center celebrating 11 years, a certified Life Art Coach instructor, and a long-time gallery curator and exhibiting artist in the Northern Nevada area. She loves sharing and testing new or old art forms with her students in an experimental and relaxed class setting. Her primary focus areas include painting with acrylic, alcohol inks, silk painting, mixed media, textile dyeing and painting, and wool felting.
